I would like to thank the committee for the invitation to judge the regular classes and Best of Breed at their show and also to the exhibitors that entered and attended.
I felt the presentation of all exhibits was above standard and I would like to thank all exhibitors for this, as this made it more of a joy to judge some wonderful dogs. I was extremely pleased with my overall winners, however was a little concerned when I found a few incorrect mouths whilst judging. I feel this could need to be watched closely.
Many thanks also to the committee for my lovely hamper in my room on arrival and the stunning, hand painted “Eng. Ch. Penarlton Cast No Shadow” Corgi Tea Pot – I was very touched with this.

His movement and soundness won him the class and eventually WINNERS DOG and later BEST OF WINNERS. Congratulations.

Good reach of neck leading to a level topline. Good rear angulation. Moved well both coming and going. This dog, out moved most of the youngsters today. I would like to express my sincere thanks to the Committee of the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of the Garden State for inviting me to Judge the Sweepstakes at their 12th Annual Specialty. My gratitude also goes to my excellent Stewards for their hard work and efficient way they managed my ring. The hospitality extended by the Club along with the beautiful basket of gifts and my wonderful hand painted teapot with Alice’s portrait on the front is very much appreciated and will be treasured.
I wish also to extend my thanks to the exhibitors for the quality entry and the way in which they sportingly accepted my placings. It was truly memorable and a delight to be honoured with this judging assignment.
The presentation of all exhibits was first class and a delight to judge. Quality was of a very high standard and some decisions were extremely close. My main concern was that I did find a few incorrect bites which I feel must be watched for the future of the Breed.

SWEEPSTAKES PUPPY 6 MONTHS AND UNDER 9 MONTHS, DOGS (2 exhibited)
1. STARLITE‑FOXTALE’S TWIST IN TIME (Ch. Lostriver Tri’dntru Irish Mist x Ch. Foxtale’s Under The Boardwalk) Breeders/Owners: Virginia C. Fitzgerald & Barbara J. Boltz. Quality red and white 7 month old with excellent bone and well shaped feet. Level topline excellent front and rear angulation. At the moment very much a baby but so well constructed enabling him to move around the ring with a free flowing gait when settled. Needs to grow into his ears which I am sure he will do when he reaches maturity. Correct coat in excellent condition, well presented.
2. HAPPIBARBOR EVER BLOOMIN (Ch. Happiharbor Theodore Rex x Happiharbor Oprati) Breeder: T. Rutledge Parker. Owners: Parker Crenshaw & T. Rutledge Parker. Red and White mature 8 months old. 3. JORASH FOXWAY GRACELAND (Ch. XIII Maples Storm At Readfield x Foxlore Foxway Saving Grace) Breeder/Owner: Ellen Schusterson. Another mature Red and White of good overall proportions. Finer in type to my first two placings. Correct shoulder angulation with firm topline would prefer more angulated quarters which would allow him to drive more freely.
4. IVYSEDGE DEVIL’S ADVOCATE (Ch. Triple H Once In A Brw Moon x Ch. Windhamlair Pocahantas) Breeder: A Scheibenpflug. Owners: Ellen Schusterson & A. Scheibenpflug.
