ABOUT US

The Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of the Garden State is proud to be a regional affiliate club of the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of America.

The objectives of the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of the Garden State:

  • to encourage and promote quality in the breeding of purebred Pembroke Welsh Corgis and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection
  • to urge members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed as approved by The American Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by which Pembroke Welsh Corgis shall be judged
  • to do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of the breed by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at dog shows and obedience trials.
  • to conduct sanctioned and licensed specialty shows, obedience trials, and agility trials under the rules of The American Kennel Club

Meetings

The Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of the Garden State generally meets on the 2nd weekend of every other month, beginning in January. Most meetings are either in Bridgewater or Bedminster, New Jersey — although we occasionally hold meetings at local shows.

Meetings are open to members and non-members alike. If you would like to be a guest at any upcoming meeting and have any questions, please contact our club’s corresponding secretary.

Our events calendar lists dates for all of our upcoming meetings.
